Holy bananas friends!
2015 was a pretty zany year. It was the year of getting things done and new adventures. I feel like a whole different person than I was a year ago. I mean, I'm still Nicole but I feel like a smarter more confident version of myself. Crossing a few major things off one's to do-list will do that to a gal. I REALLY stepped out of my comfort zone this year and it's something I would encourage anyone reading this to do the same. I could go on about that but I'll skip the novel for once.
I'm now, as I always seem to be at this time of year, excited to get going on a few new endeavours. Oh and I totally re-designed my site! It looks way less 1999 now. AND it now features a direct link to my Etsy page! You can follow that hyper link or click on Shop in the navigation tab. I have a few super cute, super glam pink faux fur coats listed, and a few summery things for those thinking ahead to their spring/summer wardrobe. They're very 1960s California beach inspired and 100% sewn by me. Where possible I've given vintage threads new life. The flower power top is my favourite and I was wise not to make it in my size otherwise I would have kept it! Personally, I've been rocking one of my pink/white/orange tunic tops for a little while now and I just love it. More listings to come soon as I snap some product shots.
Oh and speaking of stepping out of one's comfort zone - this website is part of that! I haven't posted as much as I would have liked but I'm happy with what I've been able to share over this past year and I now have a clearer vision of what else I want to share with my readers and fellow mid-century style enthusiasts so I'm excited about that! And if you're reading this - THANK YOU! Feel free to leave a comment too. I love connecting with other folks who share my love of sixties fashion, music, and overall mid-century aesthetic. And if you sew your own retro wardrobe I love seeing that kind of stuff too!
Thanks again for checking in and HAPPY NEW YEAR!! I wish you creativity and adventure!
